Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musically inclined family. She spent most of her youth listening to classical music, boleros from the past, ranchero traditional or romantic songs, as well old classical pieces. Ana loves opera and tangos, and any dramatic performance. Following her singing lessons with mom and sister, she began more intense training in singing at 16 under the guidance by renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. She studied in Guadalajara at the School of Music of University of Guadalajara as well as in Toluca in the School of Sacred Music. While a student, and when she was a professional young at the time in Mexico City and Guadalajara she sang with several chamber groups and choruses. She sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the southern part of California. The singer currently sings traditional Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. As an active performer as well as an instructor, her love of arts and music keeps her engaged in a wide range of initiatives. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as well as members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing the traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
