Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor. His career began acting in TV shows, like Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. The actor gained acclaim for his performance as Human Torch, the Marvel Comics superhero in Fantastic Four (2007) and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2008). Evans was also featured in film versions of comics and graphic novel TMNT (2007), Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009), Snowpiercer (2003). Alongside his character as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Evans gained recognition through his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. In the Marvel universe, the character as Steve Rogers/Captain America made him the top-paid actor in the world.
